Experts from the International Monetary Fund, in an interview for the publication "الخليج", predict that the annual overall growth will be 5% for Abu Dhabi and 3.5% for Dubai on average from 2024 to 2025. As noted in their statement, the restoration of economic activity after the COVID-19 pandemic will contribute to growth in GDP in the United Arab Emirates as a whole. This is related to the recovery of the tourism sector, increased non-oil production, and attracting investments in the oil and gas sector. “The forecast of increased growth for Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the coming years seems justified, considering the efforts of the authorities to stimulate the economy and support key sectors,” emphasized specialists from the Ministry of Finance.
